This role is an opportunity to join a fully distributed sales team focused on growing a leading WordPress hosting business. As a Business Development Representative, you will manage inbound leads, engage prospects, qualify opportunities, and create a strong first impression throughout the early sales journey. You will combine thoughtful relationship-building with AI-assisted tools to improve research, preparation, follow-ups, and sales execution. Working closely with senior sales professionals, you will help generate qualified meetings, support pipeline growth, and contribute to customer expansion and retention. The position offers a highly collaborative environment where human judgment, curiosity, and continuous learning remain central to effective sales engagement.

Accountabilities:
- Manage inbound leads across email, chat, and other channels by responding to inquiries,



understanding prospect needs, and qualifying sales opportunities.
- Conduct initial discovery conversations and create interest in WordPress hosting solutions by clearly communicating their value and relevance.
- Schedule qualified meetings for senior sales team members and ensure smooth, well-documented handoffs.
- Educate prospects on product capabilities, features, and benefits throughout the early stages of the sales process.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track prospect interactions, document next steps, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Partner closely with the senior sales team to move qualified opportunities forward and support a seamless customer journey.
