Job Title - Manager Senior, Facilities

Reports To: Operations Director

General Summary
The Facilities Sr Manager is responsible for activities of the departments under his/her responsibility to ensure the proper operation of equipment and facilities, ensuring maximum production quantity and quality by providing technical support while supporting the company's policies, goals, and objectives. In addition, develop and implement maintenance systems associated with the high performance of the plant organization (Preventive Maintenance, TPM, etc.). Apply engineering techniques to all matters related to building facilities, machinery, and the daily requirements of production areas, in accordance with company direction. Ensure proper planning of work and spare parts to maximize continuity of building and machinery operations, resulting in minimum downtime and optimized operating costs.

Duties & Responsibilities




- Manage the different departments under their responsibility (Building Maintenance, MRO area, TPM, and Housekeeping) and achieve the objectives established by the company.
- Lead and communicate the company's direction to direct supervisors in order to achieve established goals.
- Ensure that staff comply with all safety-related requirements.
- Lead and execute layout changes, expansions, equipment installations, etc.
- Monitor costs related to utility consumption and recommended alternatives and program costs to reduce usage.
- Responsible for the quality of the product produced as it relates to this function.
- Have the authority to stop a line, machine, or activity when unsafe conditions exist.
- Perform safety-related activities as necessary.
- Continuously review the operation of equipment, the building, and related systems; minimize unplanned downtime; anticipate and resolve problems in a timely manner; and identify opportunities for improvement.
