This role in summary
Whirlpool is looking for an experienced Tooling Engineer with a strong background in appliance manufacturing operations. As part of the Tooling and Equipment group, the successful candidate will work closely with Product Engineering, Project Management, Commodity Management and our new product organization to define,



coordinate and manage the acquisition of the necessary stamping tooling to successfully manufacture and deliver winning new products to the marketplace. This will cover coveted brands such as Whirlpool, Amana, Estate, KitchenAid, and Maytag.

The successful candidate will be at the forefront of developing new appliance products by providing manufacturing early design consultation services, while establishing the early capital budget estimates.

Your responsibilities will include
As the Tooling & Equipment Stamping Engineer you will be accountable for supporting new product integration by providing expertise to each of the key functions.
- Working closely with the Procurement group and Engineering and Technology to forecast and budget capital purchases.
- Expert on providing stamping assumptions (tooling type, process, press size) and capital investment with preliminary information.
