SALESFORCE TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Technical Consultant – Marketing Cloud Next is a hands-on execution role within the Strategic Migration CoE / Migration Factory,



supporting end-to-end migrations from legacy platforms (Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, SFMC Classic) to Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next. Unlike the Technical Architect (who owns solution strategy and design), this role focuses on detailed technical implementation: platform configuration, journey/automation build, data extension migration, and quality validation — working under the architect's guidance and in direct contact with client teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Configure and build MC Next components: Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio.
• Execute technical migration of data extensions, subscriber lists, and segments per the architect's blueprint.
• Build and test migrated journeys, validating decision logic, triggers, and personalization (AMPscript/SSJS).
• Support consent/suppression list migration (GDPR/CAN-SPAM/CASL), verifying data integrity for each batch.
• Configure integrations via Marketing
