Your Role
As an API Test Automation Lead / Cloud Integration Quality Engineer at Capgemini, you will drive quality assurance initiatives for cloud-native backend platforms, APIs, and enterprise integrations. You will be responsible for validating microservices, business logic, and complex integration workflows across Azure-based environments while supporting modern quality engineering and automation practices.
This role requires strong expertise in API testing, cloud technologies, automation development in C#, and integration validation between internal and external systems. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, DevOps teams,
and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable platform releases.
Responsibilities & Scope
Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies for cloud-native backend platforms and microservices architectures.
Develop and maintain API test suites using Postman and related testing frameworks.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across Azure-based cloud environments.
Validate REST API contracts, data transformations, business rules, and integration workflows.
Test new API integrations and ensure business logic is accurately implemented across connected systems.
Support quality assurance activities for integration and transformation platforms connecting internal applications with external vendor systems.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using C# to improve test coverage and reduce manual effort.
