B2-C1Key Responsibilities

Create and revise 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering releases.Develop cost-reduction concepts while maintaining requirements and critical interfaces.Perform packaging, tolerance, fit, form, function, and manufacturability assessments.Resolve nonconformities and field issues through root-cause analysis and design revision.Support design reviews, supplier coordination, prototype evaluation, and validation planning.Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.Mechanical component redesign for lower material, tooling, fabrication, and assembly cost.Sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, piping/fittings, plastics, fasteners,



and tolerance stack-ups.2+ years for junior or 4+ years for mid-level mechanical design assignments.Experience in product design from concept through detailed design, verification, release, and production support.Working knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, DFMEA, and engineering change control.Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations across design, manufacturing, analysis, suppliers, and customers.Hands-on SolidWorks experience is required; provide examples of production-released designs.English level

B2-C1Industry Knowledge

Experience in energy storage systems (e.g., batteries, iron-air technology).Familiarity with large-scale mechanical or industrial projects.Software And Tools

Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems (e.g., TeamCenter, Windchill).Innovation And Optimization

Experience in design optimization (e.g., topology optimization, weight reduction).Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.Manufacturing And Materials

Understanding of advanced manufacturing processes (e.g., additive manufacturing, CNC machining).Knowledge of material selection for extreme environments (e.g., corrosion resistance, high-temperature materials).Soft Skills
