and compaction processesRun stress tests against Cassandra clusters and interpret the resulting performance metricsRequirementsA minimum of three years of hands-on, relevant professional experienceDeep knowledge of designing and building Cassandra or other NoSQL database systemsAny exposure to Astra or AWS Keyspaces platformsPractical skill in Cassandra data modeling, NoSQL architecture design, and managing keyspaces, tables, indexes, user creation, and access permissionsSolid understanding of Cassandra's internal mechanisms, including the gossip protocol, hinted handoffs, read repair processes, and Merkle treesWorking knowledge of Linux systems and Java configurationFamiliarity with MongoDBUnderstanding of tombstone management and garbage collection/purging processesExperience administering, maintaining, and supporting clusters using tools such as Opscenter, Devcenter, Linux, and SparkAb
