Job Description

The Financial Information Analyst is responsible for analyzing the operative and financial information of all CEMEX business units and consolidating it into accurate, timely and decision-ready reporting. The position prepares the monthly, quarterly and annual results packages used by the Controller, the CFO and the CEO, ensuring consistency between operative drivers (volumes, prices, costs) and reported financial results. It also acts as an information hub for the organization, delivering analysis and data to Planning, Finance, Treasury, Investor Relations and other corporate areas. The role exists to guarantee that management and external stakeholders receive a single, reliable and well-explained version of the company’s performance.

Main Responsibilities
- Analyze the operative and financial information of all business units, identifying variances versus prior year,



budget and forecast, and explaining the underlying business drivers.
- Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages for the Controller, CFO and CEO, among other audiences, including results analysis, KPIs and executive presentations.
- Consolidate and validate information submitted by the business units, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with corporate accounting and reporting guidelines (IFRS).
- Deliver recurring and ad-hoc information and analysis to Planning, Finance, Treasury, Investor Relations, Tax and other corporate areas, ensuring a single source of truth.
- Support the closing calendar: coordinate deadlines with business units, review closing results and follow up on open items until resolution.
