Core Molding Technologies is seeking aPlant Director to lead all aspects of plant operations, driving performance across manufacturing, engineering, quality, safety, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
This role has full accountability for plant performance, includingP&L; ownership, operational execution, and team leadership. The Plant Director partners with site and corporate leadership to deliver results, build a strong culture, and establish a high-performing, world-class manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all plant operations, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and safety
- Ownplant P&L; performance, driving profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Establish and execute strategies to achieve targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Lead and develop the plant leadership team; establish performance goals and ensure accountability for results
- DriveLean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Ensure strong process discipline and adherence to quality and operational standards
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Allocate resources effectively to meet production and business objectives
- Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed
- Partner with customers, suppliers, and corporate leadership to support business growth and new program launches

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
