Material Planner
to join our Mesoandean Crop Protection Supply Chain team.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing the supply of raw materials, co-formulants, packaging materials, and semi-finished goods required to support production activities. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability, optimize inventory levels, and maintain an efficient balance between supply and demand.
Ensure the right materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity and quality, while optimizing inventory and storage costs.
Develop and share demand forecasts for raw materials and packaging components with suppliers and confirm supply capabilities.
Schedule and manage material deliveries according to existing contracts and purchase orders.




Evaluate storage and distribution capacity requirements based on supplier lead times and production needs.
Lead the resolution of short-term supply and demand imbalances affecting manufacturing operations.
Identify and respond to raw material service or quality issues in collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams.
Support supplier performance evaluations and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.
Execute disposition plans for non-productive materials and oversee the overall health of raw material and packaging inventories. ---Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings and contribute to Supply Chain improvement and transformation projects.
Maintain accurate material and supplier master data, including lead times, safety stock levels, lot sizes, and planning parameters.
Monitor inventory accuracy and implement corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
