AI & Knowledge Engineer – Business Architecture
We are seeking an AI & Knowledge Engineer to join our Business and Strategic Enterprise Architecture practice as a peer to the Business Architects. This is not simply a development role; the candidate must combine strong AI engineering capability with architectural thinking, curiosity, stakeholder orientation, and the aptitude to build meaningful Business Architecture domain knowledge.
- Design and build an MCP server, APIs, and services providing governed access to the Bizzdesign Business Architecture repository and related enterprise data.
- Develop AI agents, agentic workflows, chatbot capabilities,

and reusable AI services that improve Business Architecture productivity and stakeholder value.
- Implement advanced knowledge patterns including RAG, vector databases, structured retrieval, provenance, and hybrid retrieval, reducing reliance on manually attached files.
- Bring strong hands-on capability across LLMs, agent frameworks, MCP, APIs, Python/software engineering, data integration, security, testing, evaluation, and observability.
- Develop sufficient knowledge of BIZBOK and Business Architecture concepts, including capabilities, value streams, information, strategy, initiatives, organization, and application relationships.
- Act as a thought partner to Business Architects, identifying where AI, automation, and knowledge engineering can improve methodology, analytical depth, velocity, consistency, and stakeholder outcomes.
- Translate Business Architecture use cases into scalable, reusable AI-enabled solutions, rather than one-off proofs of concept.
