Manufacturing Supervisor
Essential Job Functions
- 1.Supervises and coordinates the activities of production operators.
- 2.Responsible for ensuring that the assigned shift meets the key performance indicators (KPIs) in the areas of safety, production quality, delivery, and company culture.
- 3.Conducts a daily review of production schedules to finalize the department’s work plan and staffing assignments for the shift.
- 4.Supervises and directs shift personnel in carrying out operations in accordance with the company’s operational principles, policies, and procedures. This includes training in safety, safety procedures, and accident prevention.
- 5.Coordinates workflow and fosters teamwork to achieve departmental or shift objectives.
- 6.Anticipates and identifies the causes of KPI failures during the shift.
- 7.Reports promptly to the Production Manager and/or Plant Manager when KPI failures occur. Assesses the impact on overall operations and prepares recovery plans and corrective actions.




- 8.Prepares the necessary forms for employees and forward them to the Production Manager and/or Human Resources for approval.
- 9.Manages inventory levels and creates purchase orders as needed.
- 10.Provides orientation and training for new employees, including safety policies and procedures.
- 11.Ensure that the 6S standard is maintained.
- 12.Be available to work overtime as needed.

- 1.Industrial Engineering and/or any degree related to the position.
- 2.Experience as a supervisor in an assembly environment.
- 4.Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others.
- 5.Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- 6.Ability to maintain employee confidentiality.
- 7.Ability to build constructive and effective relationships.
- 8.Ability to address the needs of people, production, and the company.
- 9.Highly organized and self-motivated.
