Qualifications
• Strong skills in database administration, including configuration, monitoring, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Experience in database development and database design to support scalable, secure, and efficient applications.
• Proficiency in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical models for transactional and analytical systems.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools to integrate and transform data across systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL and at least one major relational database platform (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud database services and automation/scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
