This role requires experience in internet fundamentals, including web servers, application servers, internet security and other internet technologies. It involves designing and delivering internet infrastructure solutions that meet client, product, service and backbone requirements.
Have you ever worked with Microsoft Visio to design middleware infrastructure from the ground up?
Can you work with users, application teams and other stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and requirements?
Can you define high-level system requirements based on the given requirements and other constraints?
Can you ensure that these high-level requirements are consistent, complete, correct and operationally defined?

• Developing knowledge of networking, operating system principles and web architecture.
• Developing knowledge of core functions related to internet infrastructure design and web administration.
• Understanding of load balancers,



firewall policies and configurations.
• Well versed in failover strategies and current design and security best practices.
• Understanding of disaster recovery and failover techniques and routing strategies.
• Awareness of cloud design and architecture.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship-building, collaboration and organisational skills, and the ability to work in a matrixed, diverse and geographically distributed project team.
• High-energy, proactive and detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and independently.
• A high degree of initiative and self-motivation, with a proven ability to drive results.
