Reports To: Engineering / Project Management Team
Position ObjectiveSupport the design, drafting, detailing, and coordination of structural engineering projects for U.S.-based clients by developing accurate structural drawings, construction documents, details, and engineering documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
The engineer will work closely with structural engineers, architects, project managers, contractors, and other disciplines to translate structural design requirements and engineering calculations into clear, coordinated, and constructible drawing sets that comply with applicable U.S. building codes, engineering standards, and project requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Drafting, Detailing & Design• Develop detailed structural drawings and construction documents for commercial, industrial, residential, and related building projects.
• Produce structural plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and construction details using Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
• Translate structural calculations, engineering sketches, markups,



and design requirements into accurate structural drawings.
• Develop and update structural models throughout different phases of design and construction documentation.
• Prepare structural details for foundations, concrete, structural steel, framing systems, connections, and other structural components as required by project scope.
• Incorporate engineer and project manager redlines, comments, and design revisions into structural drawing sets.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, coordination, dimensions, annotations, and constructability.
• Maintain consistency between structural models, drawings, details, schedules, and engineering documentation.
• Assist with structural analysis and calculations when required to support drafting and design development.
• Ensure drawings and structural documentation comply with applicable U.S. building codes, engineering standards, and project requirements.
