Our team has built and scaled finance functions at companies including Lyft, Ramp, and SoftBank. We are seeking an accomplished Head of Accounting to lead the accounting organization of a high-growth US company, working remotely from Mexico.
This is the leadership seat for accounting as a whole. You will set the standards, structure,
and roadmap for the function, and lead the managers and specialists who run the close, revenue accounting, and accounting operations day to day. Where the company is preparing for its next stage — a larger audit, a first-time SOX-style control environment, an acquisition, or a new international entity — you will make sure the accounting function is ready before it is tested.
You will report to the CFO or CEO and act as the senior accounting voice with auditors, the board's audit committee, investors, and department leaders. Accounting Leadership and Strategy
