Senior Accounting Analyst (Confidential Company)Location: Querétaro, Mexico (Hybrid)About the Company A leading multinational company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join its finance team. This is a confidential search for a well-established organization with international operations, offering a dynamic environment and strong exposure to general accounting practices.Position Overview The Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, controlling, and monitoring accounting activities across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with international standards and internal policies. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, month-end close processes, and supporting cross-functional teams with accounting expertise, particularly within a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, analyze, and report monthly financial statements through Cognos, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to corporate.Oversee and coordinate with an outsourced accounting firm in Chile, ensuring accurate accounting entries and proper month-end closing in Softland/LN.Consolidate and report financial data for international entities, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.Participate in the monthly closing process, ensuring deadlines are met and providing guidance to other analysts and departments.Generate trial balances, management reports,



and advanced Excel analyses to support financial decision-making.Record accounting entries in SAP and review postings from other departments to ensure accuracy and proper classification.Perform monthly account reconciliations, including IFRS 15-related transactions, rebates, and marketing accruals.Monitor internal controls in alignment with corporate policies and support continuous improvement initiatives.Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially operations and manufacturing, to strengthen accounting processes and cost control.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting.3–5 years of accounting experience within the manufacturing industry (mandatory).Experience working in multinational companies.Advanced Excel skills.Advanced English (professional working proficiency).Advanced Spanish.Experience with SAP and financial reporting tools (Cognos preferred).Key CompetenciesStrong learning agility and adaptability to change.Results-driven with high attention to quality and detail.Effective communication skills.Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions.What We OfferOpportunity to work in a multinational manufacturing environment.Exposure to international accounting standards and cross-border operations.Professional growth and development.Competitive compensation package.
