Descripción del trabajo Develop, implement, and maintain FLSmidth's Software Asset Management (SAM) policies, processes, and procedures. Conduct regular software license reconciliations and audits to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and minimize financial risk. Manage the full lifecycle of software assets, including procurement, deployment, utilization tracking, and decommissioning. Negotiate with software vendors for favorable licensing terms, pricing, and contracts. Identify opportunities for cost optimization through license harvesting, consolidation, and alternative licensing models. Collaborate with IT procurement, legal, and finance departments to ensure integrated and compliant software asset management. Provide expertise and guidance on software licensing models, terms, and conditions to various stakeholders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date software asset inventory records and documentation within SAM tools. Prepare and present reports on software license compliance, utilization, and cost savings to management. Stay informed about industry best practices, new technologies,



and regulatory changes in software asset management. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM) in a global enterprise environment. Proven experience with SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, Snow Software, Service Now ITAM). Strong understanding of various software licensing models (e.g., perpetual, subscription, user-based, core-based). In-depth knowledge of major software vendors' licensing policies (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe). Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSAM, CITAM) are highly desirable. Experience with ITIL framework and practices. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
