Architectural: Proyecto Executivo / Technical Architect

About the Role fabrikG is looking for an experienced Architect / Technical Architect to join our team and take an active role in the development of architectural projects from design into detailed construction documentation.

We are looking for someone who understands that a good set of executive drawings is much more than drafting. It is about understanding the design intent, resolving technical details, anticipating construction needs, and translating architectural ideas into clear, precise and buildable documents.

The right person will work closely with the design team, consultants, contractors and project leadership, helping move projects from concept and design development into a well-coordinated Proyecto Ejecutivo.

You will be successful when drawings are accurate, coordinated and detailed; when construction questions can be anticipated before they reach the site; and when the technical development maintains the architectural quality and intention of the original design.

Responsibilities

- Develop and produce detailed architectural construction drawings and Proyecto Ejecutivo documentation.




- Develop plans, elevations, sections, enlarged plans, schedules and construction details.
- Translate design concepts and design-development information into accurate and buildable technical documentation.
- Develop construction details for architectural elements, materials, assemblies and finishes.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP and other consultant information.
- Review drawings for consistency, accuracy, dimensions, levels, materials and construction logic.
- Identify technical conflicts and missing information before documentation reaches the construction stage.
- Participate in coordination meetings with the design team, consultants and contractors.
- Incorporate revisions and maintain organized and up-to-date drawing sets.
- Assist in the development of drawing standards, templates and documentation systems within the office.
- Support the project team during construction by clarifying drawings and resolving technical questions when required.
- Work closely with the project architect and design team to ensure that technical development remains aligned with the architectural vision.

Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience.




- 3+ years of professional experience, preferably with significant experience developing Proyecto Ejecutivo / construction documentation.
- Strong knowledge of architectural construction systems, materials and detailing.
- Excellent understanding of plans, sections, elevations and construction details.
- Strong AutoCAD skills.

Experience with Revit or other BIM platforms is a plus.

- Ability to understand and develop architectural details independently.
- Experience coordinating architectural information with engineering consultants.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple drawings and revisions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a small design team.
- Ability to identify problems, propose solutions and take ownership of assigned work.
- Experience with residential, hospitality or high-end architectural projects is a plus.
