Role Description The CyberSecurity Technical Trainer (Mexico) is a full-time role responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining technical training programs for Thales cybersecurity products. Based in Mexico City in a hybrid arrangement, the trainer will conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams, ensuring clear understanding of cybersecurity concepts and product capabilities. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating course materials, labs, and documentation, tailoring content to different skill levels, and providing hands-on guidance during workshops.

The role also involves collaborating with product, engineering, and support teams to keep training content current with product releases, gathering feedback to improve training effectiveness, and occasionally supporting presales or post-sales enablement activities.



Some work from home is acceptable, with regular coordination across global teams and time zones.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with the ability to explain core concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Application Security and Malware Analysis to demonstrate secure development practices and threat analysis in training scenarios.
- Solid understanding of Network Security to cover architectures, protocols, secure configurations, and common attack vectors.
- Experience designing and delivering technical training, workshops, or certifications, preferably in cybersecurity or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage learners in classroom, virtual, and hybrid environments.
- Ability to create clear training materials, including slides, lab guides, and documentation, and to adapt content to different skill levels.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Mexico City, collaborating with integral teams and managing multiple training engagements.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or vendor-specific security certifications) are a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is strongly beneficial for local and regional training delivery.
