Requirements

Must-have experience

- Senior-level experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), Quality Engineering, or Test Automation roles.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
- Hands-on development experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.
- Strong experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Eggplant.
- Experience implementing API test automation frameworks.
- Experience developing mocks, stubs, test harnesses, and test data management solutions.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
- Strong understanding of API, integration, end-to-end, and mobile test automation strategies.
- Experience driving shift-left testing practices and defect prevention initiatives throughout the SDLC.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience analyzing quality and test automation metrics to support continuous improvement.
- Experience mentoring SDETs, QA Engineers, Automation Engineers, and development teams.
- Strong technical communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating with development, DevOps, infrastructure, product, and business teams.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, quality engineering practices,



and automation architecture.

Nice-to-have experience
- Experience with Git, Jira, qTest, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or similar development lifecycle and platform tools.
- Experience with service virtualization solutions and advanced test environment management.
- Experience defining organizational quality engineering standards and automation strategies.
- Experience leading technical initiatives for mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
- Define and drive quality engineering strategy across complex software delivery initiatives.
- Develop and maintain mocks, stubs, service virtualization components, test harnesses, and test data solutions.
- Translate complex business workflows into comprehensive automation strategies and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Integrate automated testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
- Lead API, integration, end-to-end, and mobile automation initiatives.
- Drive shift-left testing practices to identify and prevent defects earlier in the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation, framework, environment, and integration issues.
- Establish and improve automation architecture, testing standards, and quality engineering best practices.
- Gather, analyze, and report quality and automation metrics to support data-driven decisions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to SDETs,



Automation Engineers, QA Analysts, and development teams.
- Partner with development, DevOps, infrastructure, product, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Drive continuous improvements in testing efficiency, coverage, reliability, and overall product quality.
- Support architecture decisions and quality initiatives for mission-critical applications.
