Customer Project Buyer Location: Queretaro Schedule: Full-Time Make a real impact on large-scale customer projects We are looking for a highly driven Customer Project buyer to lead sourcing and supplier strategies for customer projects from the bidding stage through final execution.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to ensure competitive sourcing, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and successful project delivery.

What will you do?
Lead procurement activities throughout the customer project lifecycle, from quotation and tendering to execution and delivery.
Develop sourcing strategies that improve project competitiveness, profitability, and delivery performance.
Manage supplier selection processes, including RFIs, RFQs, negotiations, and supplier evaluations.
Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) and identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvements.
Drive value engineering, supplier change initiatives, and negotiation strategies to improve project margins.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Category Management, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams.
Identify supplier and supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
Support critical project phases by coordinating supplier performance and addressing material shortages.
Participate in project reviews, governance meetings, and executive status updates.
Ensure data accuracy and reporting through procurement systems and digital tools.
What are we looking for?
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement,



Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Project Procurement.
Experience supporting procurement, supply chain, project execution, or customer-facing operations for large enterprise customers with complex business requirements and high-volume demand, such as Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Meta, or other global accounts.
Experience leading supplier negotiations with measurable business impact.
Experience working on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement processes.
Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with procurement and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, industrial, energy, automation, electrical, or engineering-related industries.
Experience supporting customer-driven projects.
Knowledge of cost breakdown analysis, value engineering, and productivity methodologies.
SAP experience is a plus.
Experience working in integral or multicultural environments.
