Intugo, in partnership with a foreign company specializing in electrical contracting and public infrastructure projects, is hiring a Payroll & Compliance Coordinator / Payroll Compliance Specialist to support certified payroll operations for union electrical construction projects in California.
Main Responsibilities
- Process and support weekly payroll through Foundation software.
- Review employee timesheets, classifications, job codes, overtime, and double time.
- Verify compliance with prevailing wage and union rates.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for public works projects.
- Support audits and compliance documentation.
- Prepare union reports, fringe benefit calculations, and trust fund contributions.
- Coordinate reporting for Local 440 / Local 477 and similar unions.
Must-Have Requirements
- 2+ years of payroll experience, ideally in construction or trades.
- Strong knowledge of California certified payroll regulations.
- Experience with payroll systems (Foundation, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Familiarity with prevailing wage and union payroll compliance.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with LCP Tracker.
- Knowledge of union payroll and fringe benefit reporting.
- Familiarity with DIR, workers’ compensation classifications, and audit support.
Position Details
- Full-time position.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Site-based role in Hermosillo.
- Looking for local candidates only.
- Gross monthly salary 25,900MXN
