1. Payroll Authorization Review and approve payroll prior to processing, ensuring all transactions are accurate, properly supported, and completed within required timelines. Maintain payroll earnings and deduction codes, statutory calculation rules and payroll configuration requirements. Coordinate testing and implementation of payroll-related systems, legislative, process, and vendor changes 2. Strategic Planning Translate business priorities, industry practices, and regulatory requirements into operational plans, processes, tools, and infrastructure that support regional payroll objectives. 3. Reporting and Analytics Leverage payroll data to identify trends, issues, risks, and opportunities. Conduct root cause analysis and prepare reports to support internal and external reporting requirements. 4. Compliance Oversight Maintain knowledge of payroll-related laws, regulations, contracts, policies, audit standards, and fiscal practices across the region.
