The role

VSI is looking for a Business Central Implementation Consultant to support the implementation of Microsoft Business Central in our Mexico operations. You will work closely with the UK-based Business Central team and colleagues across finance, IT and other business functions to deliver a successful implementation that meets both local and Group requirements.

This role combines system implementation, user support, process improvement and reporting responsibilities. You will play a key part in ensuring Microsoft Business Central is configured effectively, supports local regulatory requirements and provides reliable financial information for operational and Group reporting.

What you will do

- Lead the implementation of Microsoft Business Central Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in Mexico, using the Microsoft localised version.

- Identify and address local business, statutory and compliance requirements throughout the implementation process.

- Support and coordinate a robust user acceptance testing (UAT) process to ensure the system is fit for purpose.

- Configure and maintain the local Business Central environment, including system settings, integrations, security and data integrity controls.

- Provide first-line technical support to users in Mexico during the post-go-live hypercare period.

- Create and deliver training materials and user documentation to support adoption of the system.

- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, user experience and business processes.

- Explore and support the use of automation and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions where appropriate.





- Ensure financial systems support both Group reporting requirements and local regulatory obligations.

- Support compliance with local requirements including electronic invoicing (e-invoicing), Value Added Tax (VAT) reporting and tax reporting.

- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and business insights using Microsoft Business Central and Power BI.

- Manage integrations between Microsoft Business Central and other business systems, including Ooona and local payroll systems.

- Maintain master data within Business Central to support accurate reporting and reliable system integrations.

- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries, functions and cultures to deliver an effective financial systems environment.

What we are looking for

- Experience implementing Microsoft Business Central in Mexico, including statutory reporting, taxation, e-invoicing and other localisation requirements.

- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.

- Proven experience using Power BI to create reports, dashboards and analytics.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different countries, cultures and business functions.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions and support users throughout change and implementation activities.
