Credit & Collections Specialist / Especialista Internacional de Crédito y Cobranza (Hybrid)

Job General Description:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and results-driven International Credit & Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-maintenance Accounts Receivable portfolios for US and international client accounts. You will proactively monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), resolve complex account discrepancies, perform deep reconciliations, and collaborate with internal and external teams to drive cash flow and minimize financial risk.

General Activities:

- Proactively manage, monitor, and collect on high-volume US and international customer accounts to ensure timely payments and reduce delinquency.
- Monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and execute strategic collection procedures to meet daily and monthly AR goals.
- Perform deep account reconciliations, investigating and resolving short payments, unapplied credits/debits, deductions, and billing disputes.
- Review accounts on credit hold, assess risks, and coordinate with Credit Management and Sales regarding order releases or shipment suspensions.
- Process credit card payments, maintain updated customer account records, and assist accounting with bank reconciliations.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly aging and delinquency reports for Credit Management reviews.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Tax/Fiscal teams to ensure smooth communication and prompt issue resolution.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience:



3 to 5 years of solid experience in Credit & Collections or Accounts Receivable, handling high-volume or international portfolios.
- Languages: Bilingual (Fluent / Business Proficiency in English and Spanish is required) for daily interaction with international clients and stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, file import/export) and hands-on experience with ERP/AR integrated systems.
- Competencies: Strong negotiation, analytical problem-solving, deep account reconciliation capabilities, and exceptional customer service skills.

Salary & Benefits:

- Base Salary: $23,000 - $26,000 MXN gross per month.
- Food Vouchers (Vales de despensa): $1,200 MXN monthly.
- Vacation Premium: 50%.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Weekends off (Saturday and Sunday).
- Work Mode: Hybrid.
