The Americas Security Program Manager leads the planning, governance, financial coordination, and delivery oversight of cybersecurity initiatives supporting the America’s RISO/BISO organization and LATAM Member Firms. The role coordinates regional projects, global security campaigns, budgets, contracts, engagement letters, cross-functional teams, and executive reporting from initiation through completion.

Responsibilities

- Lead multiple regional cybersecurity projects and workstreams through the full project management lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, transition, and closure.
- Develop project charters, objectives, delivery plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, governance routines, quality criteria, and executive reporting aligned with RISO/BISO priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams across regional delivery, LATAM Member Firms, service owners, procurement, finance, legal, third parties, and KPMGI stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, publish decisions, minutes, action items, owners, and due dates, and maintain accurate project documentation and systems of record.
- Monitor initiative and program progress, project health, risks, issues, dependencies, financial status, and expected outcomes; develop mitigation and contingency actions and escalate projects at risk.
- Drive follow-up with accountable owners to support timely completion of regional cybersecurity initiatives and RISO/BISO program commitments.
- Conduct post-project and phase reviews, capture lessons learned, and improve project management standards, processes, governance, templates, and reporting.

Financial, Contract, and Engagement Management

- Coordinate annual and in-year cybersecurity budgets, forecasts, purchase planning, charge-code monitoring, time and expense reporting, variance explanations, and financial status updates for regional security operations and projects.
- Support vendor sourcing, scope definition, commercial evaluations,



statements of work, contract reviews, approval workflows, renewals, and coordination with procurement, finance, legal, and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate regional engagement letters and engagement confirmations, including annual review cycles, service-owner input, scope and cost updates, stakeholder review, approval tracking, document version control, and final distribution.
- Provide program governance and operational oversight for Americas security services and strategic initiatives, acting as the central coordination point between LATAM Member Firms, service owners, and Global stakeholders.
- Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM) Global campaigns, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), CyberArk, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Oversee regional compliance programs related to technology lifecycle management, including EOL/EOS remediation and operating system currency initiatives, driving accountability and progress across Americas Member Firms.
- Maintain transparent records of commitments, assumptions, costs, approval status, contractual dependencies, and deliverables to support leadership decisions and audit readiness.
- Coordinate regional compliance activities supporting Global cyber insurance requirements and other strategic security obligations, ensuring timely execution and reporting across Americas Member Firms.
- Coordinate the regional execution of global information security campaigns and directives, translating global communications into clear regional actions, responsible owners, evidence requirements, deadlines, and escalation paths.
- Work with KPMGI teams, regional security service owners, CISOs, NITSOs, CIO organizations, and Member Firm contacts to clarify requirements, resolve dependencies, organize working sessions, and track responses to completion.
- Maintain consolidated campaign trackers and provide concise status reporting on completion, blockers, overdue actions, risks, decisions, and required leadership support.
- Coordinate recurring regional forums and all-hands sessions, including agendas, presenters, materials, action follow-up, and distribution of approved communications.

Qualifications and Experience

- Five to nine years of relevant project or program management experience, preferably in cybersecurity, technology risk, compliance, resilience, security awareness, physical security, personnel security, or related disciplines.




- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. PMP or comparable project/program management certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent initiatives using waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery approaches and appropriate project management tools.
- Experience coordinating budgets, vendors, contracts, statements of work, engagement letters, executive approvals, and financial reporting in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder-management skills across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
- Business-level fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal. Portuguese is desirable.

Working Expectations

- Operate with a high degree of ownership, sound judgment, and discretion while managing sensitive commercial, financial, project, and cybersecurity information.
- Maintain flexibility to participate in very early morning sessions with KPMGI and other integral teams when business needs require.
- Be available, when required, to support coordination of cybersecurity incidents outside normal business hours, including bridge coordination, stakeholder communications, action tracking, executive updates, and transition to the appropriate response teams.
- Work effectively across time zones and cultures while balancing urgent operational needs with longer-term program commitments.
