A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Head of Finance for the Power Transformers factory in Guanajuato, you will partner closely with the Factory General Manager and regional leadership to drive financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic growth initiatives. Your day will involve overseeing financial planning, controlling, reporting, and governance activities while providing insights that support business decisions, capacity adaptability, and investment projects. You will lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and continuous process improvements across manufacturing operations.

How You’ll Make An Impact

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning processes, aligning factory financial targets with the Transformers Americas business strategy.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accurate analysis of factory performance, manufacturing variances, productivity, inventory, and cost controlling.
- Partner with the Factory General Manager and regional leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions, growth initiatives, and capacity adaptability.
- Evaluate and monitor CAPEX investments, business cases, ROI performance, and project execution to ensure sustainable value creation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS, local accounting regulations, and corporate governance requirements across all factory operations.
- Lead and develop the factory finance and controlling team while driving process optimization, digitalization, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You Bring





- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification.
- 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a financial leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong expertise in factory controlling, cost accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A;), and investment evaluation.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP FI/CO and financial reporting, modeling, and analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent leadership capabilities, fluent English and Spanish communication, and a proven track record of managing complex financial structures in a multinational environment are essential.
