About the Role

Lead and ensure the proper management of the operation’s financial, accounting, and cost functions, providing accurate and timely information to support business decision-making. Responsible for P&L;, budgeting, forecasting, manufacturing costs, inventory, cash flow, and financial analysis of projects, contributing to the profitability and growth of the organization. Act as a strategic business partner to Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Management by identifying opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and resource optimization.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze the monthly P&L;, Budget, and Forecast.
- Project sales, costs, expenses, and profitability, analyzing variances against budget and forecast.
- Calculate break-even point, contribution margin, and financial scenarios.
- Present financial results, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to Management and Corporate Finance.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor Standard Cost and calculate vigente manufacturing costs.
- Analyze variances related to materials, labor, overhead, purchase prices, efficiency, scrap, and absorption.
- Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels.
- Analyze inventory days, turnover, obsolescence, and inventory variances.
- Lead and ensure timely completion of the monthly financial close.
- Coordinate audits and follow up on findings and corrective action plans.
- Evaluate the financial impact of expansion projects, new products, and capacity investments.

Payback, and CAPEX analyses.
- Monitor CAPEX budgets and actual spending.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- P&L;, Budget, and Forecast accuracy and achievement.

- Audit and internal control compliance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the maquiladora and electronics industry; supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency, 90% or equivalent, both written and spoken, with the ability to participate in meetings and deliver presentations.
- Strong experience in P&L;, Budget, Forecast, Cash Flow, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial and cost accounting, Standard Cost, Actual Cost, BOM, and variance analysis.
- Experience with inventory, working capital, scrap, absorption, and productivity.
- Knowledge of internal controls, audits, and corporate financial policies.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with manufacturing ERP systems; SAP/Oracle and Power BI preferred.
- Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, communication, and results-oriented skills.
- Availability to travel to the United States and valid passport/visa.
