We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Foreign Trade Specialist to support the importation and logistics operations of automotive spare parts. This role is idóneo for someone who enjoys coordinating international shipments, working with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring smooth customs and logistics processes from origin to final warehouse delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor automotive spare parts import operations.
- Work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Review import documentation and support customs clearance activities.
- Track international shipments and monitor cargo release status.
- Coordinate inbound deliveries to distribution centers and warehouses.
- Follow up on logistics incidents and implement corrective actions when required.
- Monitor logistics, freight, and customs-related costs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain operational reports and shipment status updates.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within import and logistics processes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in import operations, international logistics, customs, or foreign trade activities.
- Good understanding of Mexican import regulations and customs procedures.
- Experience coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international suppliers.
- Intermediate Excel skills for reporting and operational analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
