ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Metrology Engineer Specialist ensures the conformity of our machined parts by performing geometrical inspection and testing operations in accordance with customer drawings.RESPONSIBILITIES- CMM Program Expert- Measure the parts to validate characteristic according drawing requirements- Create inspection programs for Faro Arm or CMM- Ensure update and liability database of tools, equipment, machines and tooling subject to periodicalverifications- Ensure periodic on-site calibration checks, following up the entire process- Organize and supervise the use, handling and storage of the tools and equipment- Report to dysfunction and escalation to Metrology coordinator.
- Metrology support to other departments- In charge of improvement projects either as responsible or support if required.REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's Degree- Advanced English- +5 years of experience- Confident with Excel- Confident with metrology equipment- Meticulous, rigorous, motivated, organized and have a good teamwork attitude
