The Red Tree House is a small boutique guesthouse in the heart of Condesa, Mexico City. We're known for doing hospitality a little differently: warm, personal, relaxed, and genuinely friendly.

Our guests come from all over the world, and we want them to feel less like they're walking into a hotel and more like they've arrived somewhere they already know.

We're looking for a warm, organized, and proactive person to join our Front Desk team part-time.

Schedule

- Monday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay

- $1,500 MXN per week
- Statutory benefits
- Additional paid shifts when covering vacations or absences

You'll work alongside another Front Desk team member during these shifts, so this is very much a team role.

What you'll do

You'll help with the Front Desk basics: check-ins and check-outs, answering guest messages and questions, helping with reservations, and keeping track of what's happening around the house.

But Red Tree hospitality goes beyond the desk.

You might help when things get busy, sit down with a guest and show them your favorite places on a map, help someone figure out where to go for dinner, or simply notice that someone needs a little extra attention.

We want you to get to know our guests, not just their room numbers.

You'll also communicate with housekeeping, maintenance,



and the rest of the team so everyone knows what's happening and our guests are taken care of.

Who we're looking for

- Fluent English is essential. Most of our guests are international.
- Warm, friendly, and comfortable starting a conversation.
- Organized, responsible, and punctual.
- Proactive — someone who notices what needs to be done instead of always waiting to be asked.
- Happy to work as part of a small team.
- Comfortable with computers and digital systems.
- Previous hospitality, Front Desk, Cloudbeds, or other PMS experience is a plus, but not required.

Extra shifts You'll also be our first option when someone on the Front Desk team is on vacation or absent. These shifts are paid separately, so there may be opportunities for additional hours throughout the year.

We're a small team, and everyone contributes. Some days that means checking someone in. Other days it means helping out when things get busy, recommending your favorite taco place, carrying a suitcase, or simply having a good conversation with a guest.
