Role Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our technology team in Guadalajara, JAL. This is a hybrid position, combining in-office and remote work .

You will work closely with product, operations, and business teams to design, build, and improve the internal and customer-facing platforms that support Grupo Guía’s real estate operations.

Our current stack includes

- Frontend: React 19, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Backend: NestJS and TypeScript running on Node.js
- Database: PostgreSQL

You will be responsible for developing complete product features across the stack, from user interfaces and application logic to APIs and database design. The role also involves improving existing systems, solving technical and operational problems, and helping define scalable architecture as our platforms continue to grow. As part of the engineering team, you will participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architectural decisions, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of our development practices.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Build responsive and maintainable front-end interfaces.
- Develop and integrate back-end services and REST APIs.




- Design and work with relational data models in PostgreSQL.
- Translate business and product requirements into reliable technical solutions.
- Improve performance, scalability, security, and maintainability across the platform.
- Debug and resolve issues across the full application stack.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and other non-technical teams.
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions as the platform evolves.
- Maintain and improve existing applications while developing new functionality.

Qualifications

- Professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript .
- Experience developing back-end applications with NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript .
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, SQL, and relational database design .
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Good understanding of modern software engineering practices, including Git, code reviews, testing, and maintainable code architecture.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Guadalajara, JAL .
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.
- Experience working with monorepos and modern JavaScript/TypeScript tooling.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
- Experience working on internal business platforms, CRMs, property management systems, or real estate technology.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.
