We are partnering with a general leader in the automotive industry to identify talent for its growing Shared Services organization in Mexico.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Senior R2R Accountant with strong expertise in Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Month-End Close, and CAPEX accounting within a multinational Shared Service Center environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate asset accounting, balance sheet integrity, compliance with accounting standards, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
- Perform month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
- Monitor CAPEX and WIP projects, ensuring accurate accounting and financial controls.




- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audits.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, IFRS, and/or US GAAP.
- Maintain accurate and timely MDM updates.
- Drive process improvements and standardization across R2R activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Month-End Close.
- Strong knowledge of CAPEX, reconciliations, WIP, and financial controls.
- Experience with OneStream, BlackLine, JD Edwards (JDE), and advanced Excel.
- Advanced English required MUST
- Previous experience in a Shared Service Center environment.
