Senior R2 R Accountant | Shared Service Center
Querétaro, Mexico (open to candidates willing to relocate)
We are looking for a Senior R2 R Accountant with strong expertise in Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Month-End Close, and CAPEX accounting within a multinational Shared Service Center environment.
This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate asset accounting, balance sheet integrity, compliance with accounting standards, and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
Perform month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
Monitor CAPEX and WIP projects, ensuring accurate accounting and financial controls.
Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audits.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls, IFRS, and/or US GAAP.
Maintain accurate and timely MDM updates.




Drive process improvements and standardization across R2 R activities.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
5+ years of experience in Record-to-Report (R2 R) , General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Month-End Close.
Strong knowledge of CAPEX, reconciliations, WIP, and financial controls.
Experience with One Stream, Black Line, JD Edwards (JDE) , and advanced Excel.
Advanced English required.
Previous experience in a Shared Service Center environment.
Preferred Automotive manufacturing industry experience.
Exposure to global or regional accounting operations.
CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
