Legal Intern

Objective To support Nemak’s Integral Legal & Compliance function by assisting in contract management, legal research, compliance initiatives, corporate matters, and day-to-day legal support to business teams across multiple regions, while gaining hands-on experience and professional development through leadership and mentorship opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

- General Legal & Compliance Support: Assist in a variety of Legal & Compliance matters including, but not limited to, drafting, reviewing and managing contracts, supporting compliance initiatives, corporate governance activities, litigation and dispute resolution matters, conducting legal research, addressing environmental legal matters, and handling legal aspects of M&A; projects and financing matters.
- Liaison with Governmental Agencies: Engage with various governmental bodies to handle bureaucratic procedures, ensuring compliance and smooth operations.
- Operational Support: Help manage the volume of work arising from daily operations, focusing on clerical tasks that require quick turnaround. This includes tasks involving multiple issues and clients,



with an emphasis on time-consuming activities and low-impact decision making.
- Skill and Behavior Development: Focus on developing both the technical legal skills and the professional behaviors that are displayed by the Legal & Compliance team, enhancing personal growth and team efficiency.

Position Requirements

- Education: Currently enrolled as a Law student (6th Semester or above) with strong academic performance (required).
- Skills: organization and attention to detail, analytical thinking, active listening, communication, customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in corporate law, commercial contracts, compliance and international business.
- High proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- International experience is highly valued.
- Previous experience in corporate law (desirable).
