The Master Data Specialist is responsible for connecting data, systems, and operations to drive manufacturing excellence. Acting as the bridge between the plant and General Master Data teams, this role leads digital system implementations and improvements, supports MRP processes, and drives productivity, inventory optimization, and material flow initiatives that contribute directly to business performance and operational success. This is a full-time, 100% on-site position located at our offices in Apodaca, NL.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree as data engineer, software engineer, systems engineer, or related field.
- 3+ years' experience with Master Data management or related positions.

Responsibilities

- Manage and update the plant's material databases and catalogs.
- Administer the change management system for material and product databases within the plant.
- Manage data governance and data quality through appropriate performance indicators.
- Ensure the quality of data maintained across different information systems (MES, Oracle, ETBF), including data integrity, consistency, and compatibility.
- Initiate material master records and engineering change notification (ECN) processes.
- Manage files and databases related to the product lifecycle.




- Coordinate activities among cross-functional teams responsible for product and component changes, as well as change request workflows.
- Define database management rules in accordance with global and local policies.
- Develop and manage relevant KPIs to measure data quality and operational efficiency.
- Maintain user competency levels and train new employees on the various systems according to their roles and responsibilities.
- Participate in and lead the execution of the plant inventory process.
- Maintain data integrity across all plant systems.
