About the RolePenn Engineering Mexicois looking for aProduction Supervisorto coordinate and oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and process optimization.
This position will work closely withEngineering, Quality, Materials, and Maintenanceto ensure an efficient production flow while driving continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned area.Requirements:Education
~ Bachelor's degree inMechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Experience & Knowledge
Minimum of 3 years of experiencein production supervision within the metal-mechanics manufacturing industry, preferred.
Proven experience inteam leadership and production process coordinationis required.
Ability to follow production schedules and monitorKPIsto measure departmental performance.
Knowledge of basicsafety, hygiene, and civil protection regulations.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English, preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems such asSAP, Oracle, or similar platformsfor production control.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office,



particularly Excel and Power Point.
Basic knowledge ofQuality Management Systems and problem-solving methodologiesis a plus.Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee compliance with the production schedule.
Monitor key performance indicators ( KPIs ) such as machine efficiency, labor efficiency, scrap, OTD, and COPQ, taking corrective action when targets are not achieved.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources and material availability for production.
Assign tasks and monitor team performance through weekly meetings and daily production tracking.
Develop, implement, and ensure compliance withStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct root cause analysis when issues arise and implement actions to correct and improve production processes.
Manage team-related matters, including work schedules, vacation, and time-off requests.
Identifytraining and development needsto enhance team performance.
Collaborate withQuality and Maintenanceto minimize rejections and improve process stability.Benefits
