Role Description This full-time, on-site Process Automation Engineer role is based in Guadalajara, JAL.

The Process Automation

Engineer will design, implement, and optimize automated production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability across manufacturing operations. Daily activities include programming and configuring PLCs, integrating instrumentation and control systems, monitoring process performance, and diagnosing and resolving automation-related issues. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting technical solutions,



supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The engineer will contribute to standardizing automation practices and providing training and technical support to operations personnel.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Process Automation and Process Control for industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, configuration, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Instrumentation, including selection, calibration, and integration of sensors and control devices.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving automation, control, and equipment issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-volume production environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and safety standards is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, and control schematics, and to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills; ability to communicate clearly in technical and non-technical contexts.
