Role Objective

As a Route Planning Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing route proposals, flight schedules, slot allocations, and commercial partnerships. You will transform operational, commercial, and market data into actionable insights to ensure an operation that is safe, viable, profitable, and aligned with company strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze operational, commercial, and market data to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and opportunities, translating complex data into clear recommendations for decision-making
- Design, evaluate, and adjust route proposals and flight schedules, factoring in aircraft capacity, slot coordination, maintenance windows, airport constraints, crew availability, demand patterns, and overall profitability




- Monitor performance indicators, databases, and systems to ensure data integrity, preparing comprehensive reports that explain key findings and support creative solutions
- Collaborate closely with commercial, operational, and technology teams, as well as airports and partner airlines, to implement schedule adjustments, resolve operational incidents, and ensure compliance with agreements
- Identify root causes for operational variances, propose process improvements, and track accountability and deadlines to safeguard operational continuity, customer experience, and business results

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Competencies: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to detect discrepancies, solve complex problems, and communicate insights effectively through data storytelling
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas and pivot tables)
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Flexibility to travel
- Availability to work on-site in Santa Fe
