About the RoleWe are looking for aCost Accounting Specialistto own vehicle cost closing activities and support spare-parts cost close, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end reporting.Key Responsibilities
Ownvehicle cost closeand review spare-parts cost close, including SAP MIRO, subsequent debits, cost accruals and reversals, GR/IR, and price variances.
MatchPOs, invoices, goods receipts, customs documents (Pedimentos), and VINsto ensure accurate vehicle cost allocation.
MaintainVIN-level cost bridgesfrom accrual through reversal, invoice, and vigente payment; identify duplicate payments, unreversed accruals, and unmatched items.
Reconcile assignedcost-related GL accountsand review module schedules, including accounts ******, ******, ******, ******, and ******.
Review intercompany reconciliations and deliver monthlycost analysis, inventory valuation checks, and audit evidence.
Maintain the month-endclose checklist and open-item tracker,



ensuring proper documentation and timely escalation of material exceptions.
Coordinate withProcurement, Logistics, Accounts Payable, Tax, and Warehouseteams to resolve discrepancies and close open items.
Requirements
~ Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field.
~2 to 4 years of experiencein cost accounting or GL month-end close.
~ Hands-on experience withSAP FI/CO and MM, particularly MIRO, goods-receipt matching, accruals, GL reconciliation, and month-end close.
~ Practical knowledge ofinventory costing, accrual reversals, intercompany reconciliations, and cost analysis.
~ AdvancedExcelskills for large transaction files, reconciliations, and VIN-level analysis.
~ Fluent Spanish and professional working English, both written and spoken.
