Principal Function:

The Sourcing Coordinator supports the growth of Aragon USA by identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with chemical product suppliers, both regional and international. Based in Mexico, this role serves as the operational bridge between prospective suppliers and the Director of Growth & Finance, handling supplier vetting, negotiation support, pricing analysis, and cross-border logistics coordination to help expand Aragon USA's distribution portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Supplier Identification and Vetting

- Identify and evaluate new chemical product suppliers, both domestic (Mexico) and international, for potential distribution through Aragon USA.
- Support supplier vetting, including certifications (e.g., REACH), pricing, payment terms, quality standards, and overall reliability.
- Maintain and build relationships with existing and prospective suppliers to support long-term sourcing needs.

2. Pricing and Terms Analysis

- Prepare comparative pricing and terms analysis to support sourcing decisions and margin evaluation.
- Support negotiation of pricing, payment terms, and contractual conditions with suppliers.
- Track and maintain accurate records of supplier quotes, terms, and agreements.

3. Logistics and Cross-Border Coordination

- Coordinate logistics and import/export considerations for cross-border sourcing, including Mexico–US shipments and international vendors.
- Support documentation and compliance requirements tied to new supplier onboarding, including customs and trade documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of sourced materials for evaluation or customer sampling.

4. Collaboration and Reporting

- Collaborate with the Director of Growth & Finance on product fit and market demand assessment for new sourcing opportunities.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing pipeline, supplier status, and pricing trends.




- Support documentation and reporting needs related to supplier evaluations and sourcing decisions.

5. Other Duties

Carry out other duties to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have direct reports unless assigned in writing by the Company.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or a related field, and two or more years of related experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably within the chemical or industrial sector; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills and Abilities:

The following skills and abilities are either required or desired.

•Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required) to support cross-border coordination with the US team.

- Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably chemical or industrial sector, is required.
- Familiarity with international trade and logistics (imports, customs, Incoterms) is desired.
- Computer software skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) are required. The ability to quickly adapt and embrace new software is required.
- The ability to develop positive working relationships and interact effectively with vendors, brokers, customers, and colleagues is required.
- The ability to effectively listen and communicate orally and in writing is required.
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously is required.
- The ability to prepare reports and comparative pricing analyses is required.
- The ability to work alone with minimum supervision and with others in a team environment is required.
- The ability to remain calm, perform duties, and make sound and rational decisions, including exercising independent judgment within established protocols and guidelines, is required.
- The ability to occasionally travel out-of-town on Company-related business and/or to attend conferences and trainings is desired.
