Industrialization Project Leader

About the role

At Schneider Electric, we are looking for an experienced Industrialization Project Leader to drive the successful deployment of new products and manufacturing solutions into production environments.

In this role, you will lead cross functional teams responsible for preparing manufacturing operations for high volume, repeatable, and efficient production. You will coordinate engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and project management activities to ensure successful product launches and operational readiness.

This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing performance, product quality, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction while working in a global and collaborative environment.

What will you do?

- Lead industrialization projects from concept through production ramp up.
- Drive manufacturing readiness activities to support new product introductions and customer projects.
- Coordinate cross functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production, Test Engineering and Project Management.
- Ensure all manufacturing deliverables are completed on time, including:
- Work instructions
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Manufacturing processes
- Quality documentation
- SAP master data
- Production test requirements

- Monitor project milestones, risks, resource allocation and key performance indicators.
- Support production ramp up and ensure a successful transition into serial manufacturing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
- Collaborate with global teams to standardize processes and implement best practices across manufacturing sites.
- Ensure compliance with Schneider Production System (SPS), Lean Manufacturing principles and Smart Factory initiatives.
- Develop and coach team members to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities.

What qualifications will help you succeed?

Required Qualifications

- English advanced
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrialization, production support, or operational excellence.
- Proven experience leading cross functional projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading teams of 5 to 20 employees, including engineers, technicians, or production personnel.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly operations, production systems, and industrial engineering principles.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing performance metrics such as OEE, First Pass Yield (FPY), Scrap, Productivity, Safety, and On-Time Delivery.




- Advanced English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) or product industrialization projects.
- Experience launching new production lines or manufacturing processes.
- Experience managing product transfers between manufacturing sites or countries.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Exposure to automation, digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or Smart Factory initiatives.
- Experience managing project budgets, capital investments, or product cost reduction initiatives.
- Experience within electrical, electronics, electromechanical, or industrial equipment manufacturing environments.
- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is a plus.
