The Manufacturing Engineering Manager oversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper Product Quality, Functions and Std. Cost within a Safe and Efficient Process. Ensures the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively to Launch new Products and Processes, Improve current Processes and Leads a Continuous Improvement Culture within functional department members. Responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process.

Overall objective: Manager oversees NPI/NPD Launches, manufacturing processes, leads engineering teams, and ensures Safety, First Time Quality, Efficiency and Cost in manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial) or Operations Management.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience as engineering or manufacturing manager, operations,



industrialization.
- Minimum 3 years on a lead role for new product introduction (NPI), or program management activities.
- Experience in high-mix, low to medium volume complex and custom manufacturing environments.
- Experience in metal mechanic processes and assemblies.
- Demonstrated, hands-on proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (value stream mapping, standard work, 5S, SMED, TPM, kaizen facilitation and structured problems solving); Lean and/or Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred.
- Track record of leading lean transformation or continuous improvements programmers with quantified savings in cost, space,lead time or productivity.
- Medical devices or regulated industry experience is advantageous.
