Role:

Lead the SAP Finance design for a Mexico business carve-out in SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8. Selected plants/business areas will be separated from the existing structure and moved into new company codes.

What the Architect Will Own"

- Assess the complete FICO impact of the carve-out.
- Design the target company-code, cost-center, profit-center, GL, asset, customer and vendor structure.
- Define old-to-new mapping for every affected Finance object.
- Decide what is copied, what gets a new number, what stays, and what must move.
- Define how balances, open invoices, assets and other Finance data will move.
- Guide the final movement from the old structure to the new company codes.
- Lead cutover, validation and financial reconciliation.
- Work with MM, SD, PP, EWM, Tax, Data Migration and Technical teams.

Example:

If Cost Center 100045 belongs to the carved-out business, define the target Cost Center, for example 200045, its hierarchy, profit-center link, open commitments, reporting and related dependencies. Apply the same approach to all affected Finance objects.

- Company Code and Controlling
- General Ledger and opening balances
- AP / AR open items
- Fixed Assets and depreciation
- Cost Centers and Profit Centers
- Customers, Vendors and Finance master data
- Banks and payments
- Intercompany
- Mexico tax and statutory requirements
- Historical data and open transactions

Cutover:





Define and guide: Freeze → Final extraction → Mapping / changes → Data movement → Validation → Reconciliation → Go-Live.

Must Have:

- 12–15+ years strong SAP FICO experience.
- Strong SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 experience.
- Proven company-code creation, separation, merger or carve-out experience.
- Strong FI-GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and CO experience.
- Strong Cost Center and Profit Center design experience.
- Hands-on Finance data migration, open items and opening balances experience.
- Strong intercompany accounting experience.
- Mexico Finance and tax experience, including SAT / CFDI.
- Strong cutover and reconciliation experience.
- Excellent customer-facing and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Spoken English and Spanish language

Preferred:

- SNP/CrystalBridge or similar selective data migration experience.
- Experience reviewing custom SAP programs, interfaces and reports for company-code/plant dependencies.
- Previous Mexico ECC carve-out, merger, demerger or divestment experience.

Idóneo Candidate:

A hands-on FICO Architect who can take the customer from Current Structure → Impact Assessment → Target Design → Object Mapping → Data Movement → Cutover → Reconciliation, and clearly explain what changes, why it changes and how it will be executed.
