Additional information is available at dovercorporation.com.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:** * Assures optimum inventory/kanban levels and on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying costs and transportation charges.* Materials planning for release and/or ordering of materials and supplies to achieve on-time deliveries at the optimum inventory investment. Investigates and solves problems resulting from material shortages.* Follows materials practices, contracts, assessments, and policies to ensure honest, fair, and ethical relationships with our suppliers.* Implements policies/procedures/processes that ensure the accurate processing of inventory and production transactions. Includes responsibility for the kanban process for material delivery.* Manages assigned commodities for inventory/data integrity, cycle counts, obsolete/excess inventory, returned material, engineering change notice/new product launch material planning,

Basic understanding of machinecapabilities and shop processes beneficial, including machine tooling andproduction and fabrication processes.**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years experience in materials and/or purchasing orindustrial and/or related field experience.**Supervision:** Works under limited supervision. Handles routine matters onown initiative.**Responsibility:** Exercises moderate degree of judgment.
