Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assuring, on a continual basis, that an uninterrupted flow of production material is available to support the vehicle production process. It also monitors inventory levels, expedite material, and audits material adjustment transactions to support a minimum inventory production process.
Main Tasks:
- Order all (series) production material, sample parts, prototype trial parts and repair parts with international supply chain material.
- Direct and assist suppliers to ensure material is shipped in accordance with the material released and that correct communication of shipment is attained.
- Monitor production parts on a continuous basis to prevent the occurrence of a shortage and report to management in case of deficiencies.
- Ensure proper balance out procedures are followed to minimize obsolescence and investigate, track and dispose of obsolete material.
- Review internal database for daily plant impact; provide, request and analyze root-cause and request countermeasures for delivery issues.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, track and report all open invoices.
- Analyze engineering change documents and provide implementation date through coordination with external partners.
- Monitor and correct all advanced shipping notice transmissions.

1. Education: University degree in:
- Business administration.
- Business informatics.
- Industrial engineering or supply chain management.
- Language(s): English = Business fluent. German = Colloquial language desired.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Experience in project management or supply chain.
- General business knowledge and knowledge of OEM production processes.
- Experience in moderation and presentation in bigger groups of people.
- Extensive knowledge and application of MS-Office and other relevant systems.
- Corporate Skills:
- Independent and structured way of working, including quick comprehension.
- High resilience, high organizational talent, strong understanding of integrity and loyalty.
- Strong communication skills and ability to take on challenges in a dynamic environment.
