VOLCANIX AUTOMATION is building a multidisciplinary Controls & Robotics team to support a large-scale advanced energy manufacturing facility in the Northeastern United States.
We are hiring multiple engineers and programmers across several experience levels, from Intermediate Engineers to Technical Leads.This is a hands-on engineering opportunity involving industrial controls, SCADA development, PLC programming, robotics integration, commissioning, and production support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Whether your expertise is in Controls, we'd like to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, configure, commission, and troubleshoot industrial control systems and automated equipment.Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs using Studio ****.Develop, configure, and maintain Ignition or factory talk view Platform SCADA applicationsIntegrate robots with PLC-controlled equipment, industrial networks, vision systems, and safety devices.Optimize robot paths, cycle times, and process performance to meet production goals.Perform system testing, validation, customer run-offs, and production handoffs.Troubleshoot controls, robotics, electrical, communication, and automation issues.Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers,



production personnel, and customer teams.Maintain technical documentation while following customer engineering standards.Experience LevelsIntermediate Engineer / Programmer1+ years of experience in industrial automation.Experience in one or more of the following:Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal)Working experience with Ignition Platform (SCADA)Familiarity with industrial networks (Profinet, EtherNet/IP)Experience supporting commissioning and startup activitiesStrong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing environmentExperience with vision systems, motion control, safety systems, or error-proofing is preferredQualificationsEngineering or Technical Degree requiredStrong communication and documentation skillsComfortable working on-site in fast-paced manufacturing environmentsSelf-motivated with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesWork AuthorizationMUST HOLD US Valid PASSPORTAdditional InformationCompensation is based on experience, technical expertise starting from 25 USD per hourTravel and work-related expenses are covered by the companyWork Location is On-site#J-*****-Ljbffr
