As a Product Design Engineer, you will help develop and validate automotive connectivity products by transforming technical requirements into practical design solutions.
You will contribute to product performance, manufacturability and reliability through design development, technical analysis, validation planning and disciplined engineering change management.Our TeamYou will collaborate with a global engineering and manufacturing team supporting the development and launch of automotive connectivity products.
This role offers the opportunity to work across product design, validation and manufacturing processes while contributing to solutions that meet customer and internal requirements.What You Will DoDevelop and modify three-dimensional models and two-dimensional drawings using NX or comparable computer-aided design tools and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standardsDocument product requirements, project scope, feasibility assessments and engineering work plansPrepare and manage engineering changes and related technical documentationConduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, tolerance-stack analysis and other design studiesDevelop Design Verification Plan and Report activities and analyze test results using statistical methodsSupport root-cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D and 5 WhysWork with general engineering and manufacturing partners to support product development, transfers and launchesWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience creating or modifying 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using NX,
