Role Overview
Responsible for managing the company's employment and labor law matters, including litigation, compliance, risk mitigation, and employment-related advisory, in alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and defend the company in employment and labor litigation and administrative proceedings.
Advise on employment law compliance, employee relations, investigations, and risk mitigation.
Draft, review, and update employment agreements, policies, procedures, and related legal documents.
Conduct employment law compliance audits and recommend remediation measures.
Manage outside counsel, litigation strategy, and legal budgets.
Monitor legal developments and proactively advise stakeholders on emerging employment and labor risks.
Maintain litigation and employment law files and ensure appropriate documentation and record retention.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of legal experience in a corporate environment or in a Law Firm is required.
Advanced English level (B2).
Intermediate MS Office package proficiency. Detail oriented and strong time management skills.
Candidates must be located in Guadalajara or Puebla, or be available to relocate to either city.
